Paradise in Augustines

Comedy

Performances: 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th August
Start time: 11:10 (1hr)

10 years after being refused entry to Edinburgh, Mustafa Algiyadi returns with a work-in-progress show. Mustafa manoeuvres through the European way of life from the lens of a Libyan Arab, longing so badly to be part of it, yet confronted with some cultural differences that make it... confusing! If you're up for deconstructing people's behaviours, talk about war, religion, meditation, velvet sofas and to learn that some killing is maybe not so bad after all, then come to the show. 'Comedic prowess' **** (Voice). 'Witty jokes' ***½ (Chortle.co.uk). Sell-out Brighton Fringe.
